How to get from Athens airport to Piraeus port map
1) the bus
The best value for money transfer option for Piraeus Port is the bus. You can catch the bus X96 Piraeus – Athens Airport from the designate area at the arrivals level (between Exit 4 and Exit 5). There is a bus leaving for Piraeus every 30 minutes and it takes around 50 minutes to arrive to Piraeus. Tickets cost 5.00€ and are available from the bus drivers, from the ticket kiosk at the bus departure area and from all the metro stations around Athens. Children under 6 years can travel free.
2) the metro
The metro (available between 06:30 till 23:30) leaves from Athens airport metro station every 30 minutes. You need to change metro line at Monastiraki and get to the green line (that ends to Piraeus). The trip takes more than 60 minutes.
note if you are traveling to the cruise terminal you need to take a taxi from the metro or bus stop at Piraeus. The public transportation leaves you close to the ferry terminal, not the cruise terminal.
